Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has heaped praise on Declan Rice following his fantastic showing against West Ham United in the Premier League.
The Gunners went into the game on a three-match winning run and it was expected to be a stern test of the club's title credentials.
However, the club dominated the proceedings and raced into a comfortable and commanding four-goal lead at the half-time break.
The north London giants added two more goals to their tally after the interval and could have easily scored 10 in the end.
Rice was outstanding with two assists and one stellar long-range goal. Speaking after the game, Arteta was full of praise for him.
He said: "I’m really happy with him because it was a very emotional and special day for him. He loves West Ham so much, and today he had to focus on the task and what he had to deliver."
With the victory, the Gunners remain third in the standings, but they are now only behind second-placed Manchester City on goals scored.
They will be aiming to continue the winning streak against Burnley on the road next weekend. The fans will be expecting another three points.
