Arsenal are interested in landing the signature of Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak this summer.
The Gunners are expected to spend on a marquee centre-forward and they are looking at different transfer options.
Isak has now emerged as a potential target for the Gunners. The hierarchy believe the Magpies could sell him.
Eddie Howe's side are currently in a bad financial position and they need to recoup funds to avoid FFP sanctions.
A big-money sale is required before the end of June and reports claim that Isak could be the likely candidate to leave.
Isak has had an injury-plagued season with the Magpies, but he has still scored 16 goals from 30 appearances.
He was purchased from Real Sociedad for £60m in 2022 and may cost at least £80-90m for any interested side.
Arsenal could realistically make an approach for him, having previously attempted to land his services from Real Sociedad.
The Gunners were put off by the £76m release clause in 2021. They could make a fresh approach for his signature.
