Chelsea and Arsenal will reportedly need to pay €80 million to sign Sporting Lisbon striker Victor Gyokeres this summer.
The Sweden star has been in fantastic form for the Portuguese giants this season. He has amassed 36 goals and 14 assists from just 40 games.
His form has caught the eye of elite European teams and Mirror claim that it will take around €80m to prise him away.
Sporting were previously holding out for his €100m release clause, but are now willing to slightly negotiate on the fee.
The news is a huge boost for both Chelsea and Arsenal, but the latter should be favourites to land his services this summer.
The Gunners are almost guaranteed of Champions League football next term unlike the Blues, who may not make Europe.
On top of this, the Blues are facing possible FFP sanctions and they need to balance their books before they can afford him.
This should hand a distinct advantage for the Gunners over their rivals.
