Newcastle United are planning a summer approach to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to Daily Mail.
The England international was an undisputed starter for the Gunners for the last two seasons, but he is currently a back-up to David Raya.
His position is unlikely to change anytime in the future and Daily Mail claim that he is expected to move on from the Gunners this summer.
The Magpies contemplated a move for his services in January. They were eyeing a loan deal, but the Gunners had no desire to lose him.
Eddie Howe's side plan to make a fresh approach at the end of the season and they could guarantee Ramsdale with the number one role.
Nick Pope was an undisputed starter for the Magpies before his long-term injury, but Ramsdale will be assured his place ahead of him.
Arsenal previously valued Ramsdale in the region of £50 million, but he could now leave the club for a figure between £35-40m.
