Chelsea could make a surprise move to sign former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Juventus this summer.
The Blues signed Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic for the goalkeeping role last summer, but neither have been consistent.
Sanchez was far from impressive in the early months before picking up an injury. Petrovic was much better with his handling at the start of the year, but his performances have also dipped in recent weeks.
Hence, the west London giants are expected to invest on another shot-stopper and it is claimed that Szczesny is a surprise target.
The Pole has been Juventus' number one for seven seasons, but the Bianconeri are willing to sanction his sale for €10 million.
Szczesny could be tempted to return to the English capital for the final phase of his career, but it is left to be seen whether he will join Chelsea.
Chelsea have been Arsenal's fierce London rivals and a move to Stamford Bridge for Szczesny may not go well with the Gunners faithful.
