Wojciech Szczesny will be the next player departing Italy, following the likes of Victor Osimhen, to arrive in Saudi Arabia as Al Nassr have agreed a transfer fee with Juventus for the Polish goalkeeper. It is understood that the Saudi Arabian side will pay around $25 million.
The former Arsenal number 1 has indicated that he would like to move to the Middle East, in particular to play with his former Juventus team mate Cristiano Ronaldo. Szczesny has been Juventus' long-term first choice keeper, but are now letting the Pole leave for a fresh opportunity.
Michele De Gregorio recently arrived at Juve from Monza, with the 26-year-old goalkeeper reportedly earmarked as the club's number 1 for the next five years.
Szczesny has been playing in Turin since 2017, and has made exactly 200 league appearances for Juventus. With 82 caps for Poland, he is likely to be an important member of Poland's Euro 2024 side. The 34-year-old will earn around £200,000 a week in Saudi, and is likely to sign a three year contract at Al Nassr.
