Manchester United remain interested in signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are keen on landing a new marksman this summer with Anthony Martial set to leave on a free transfer.
They have been linked with several names including Joshua Zirkzee, but as things stand, the club are not close to signing anyone.
Manchester World now report that United are still interested in Toney despite his disappointing return to action for the Bees.
Toney netted 21 goals for the west Londoners in 2022/23, but his season was eventually curtailed due to a long betting ban.
On his return in January, he had a lively start with four goals from five games, but failed to score for the rest of the season.
Toney was still picked by England manager Gareth Southgate for Euro 2024 and he could be involved in the latter stages.
It is left to be seen whether United would be willing to pay Brentford's current asking price of £60 million for the 28-year-old.
