Fulham are preparing to make a second bid to sign Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, according to Standard Sport.
The Cottagers are aiming to bolster their creative department in the current transfer window and Smith Rowe is a top target for manager Marco Silva.
Their opening bid of around £25m was swiftly rejected by the Gunners, but the north London giants have not ruled out his departure.
They are currently waiting for better proposals on the table. Fulham are expected to return for Smith Rowe, but they are not alone.
Crystal Palace are also following the situation with deep interest and could go head-to-head with the Cottagers to land his signature.
Smith Rowe is currently training with the Gunners and he is expected to travel for the pre-season tour of the United States as well.
He could be allowed to return early from the United States, suppose one of the clubs reach an agreement over a summer transfer.
