Arsenal have entered talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz on loan, according to Duncan Castles.
The Gunners are aiming to bolster their midfield this summer and they are already contemplating a move for Real Sociedad's Mikel Merino.
Amidst this, Castles has revealed that the club have initiated contacts with PSG regarding Ruiz, who could leave in the coming days.
The Spaniard has been in-and-out of the line-up for the French champions and he is prepared to move on for regular first-team football.
The Gunners plan to propose a temporary deal for the 28-year-old with an obligation to purchase at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The deal depends on the departure of a midfielder and that could happen soon with Fulham's record bid to sign Emile Smith Rowe.
Smith Rowe has opened the door for a move away from the Emirates Stadium and he has already spoken with manager Marco Silva.
It is only a matter of time before the club graduate leaves.
