Arsenal have been handed a triple selection boost ahead of the pre-season friendly against Manchester United later today.

  • Arne Slot explains Alexis Mac Allister substitution

  • The Gunners are currently in the United States. They played out a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth earlier this week before winning a penalty shoot-out.

The club will now face the Red Devils at the SoFi stadium in California. Ahead of the encounter, they have received some good team news.

Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes have joined full training after returning from their respective holiday breaks.

All three of them are expected to make the squad against United. They could make cameos off the bench due to limited match fitness.

Arsenal lost the pre-season friendly against United last summer by a 2-0 scoreline, but they did the Premier League double over them.

The upcoming friendly does not hold any significance for the new season, but both clubs will want early bragging rights over the other.

United could be favourites, having started their pre-season a week earlier.
