Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on a season-long loan deal.
Ramsdale has been the back-up goalkeeper for the Gunners since the arrival of David Raya from Brentford last summer.
His situation is unlikely to change anytime soon and The Sun claim that Arsenal want at least £50m to sanction his sale.
Forest have no plans of paying a hefty transfer fee for the Englishman, but they remain optimistic of negotiating a loan move.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side are prepared to wait until the closing stages of the transfer window before making the proposal.
Ramsdale is presently on vacation, having been involved with the England squad at the European Championship in Germany.
He is due to return for training in the second week of August and there is a possibility that he could push for a new challenge.
Ramsdale has also been linked with the likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle United, but neither have made formal bids.
