Arsenal have reportedly entered the scene to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in the current transfer window.
The Gunners have had a quiet summer thus far and they have made just two signings in David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori.
The club are eyeing more additions to the squad before the transfer deadline and a new striker could be top priority for them.
Sporting's Viktor Gyokeres has been heavily linked for the past few months, but Osimhen has re-emerged as a target.
Napoli have received no formal offers for Osimhen, having been reluctant to sell him for less than his €130m release clause.
However, the scenario could change in the coming weeks with the Serie A outfit prepared to sanction the marksman's exit.
Napoli have given their word to the former Lille striker and they are expected to permit his departure for a reduced fee.
This has reportedly encouraged the Gunners. Osimhen is reportedly dreaming of playing in the Premier League.
