Arsenal could consider a late swoop for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Gunners have made just one outfield signing in defender Riccardo Calafiori this summer, but there is expected to be more activity.
The club have already opened talks with Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino and he could be signed in the near future.
A new centre-forward seems the other priority before the deadline and it is claimed that Osimhen could be back on their radar.
The Nigerian has a release clause worth €130m in his contract and it is unlikely that the Gunners will trigger the option.
However, there is optimism that Napoli could make a deal more favourable by reducing their asking price to around €100m.
Arsenal have the money to spend on a marquee striker and it is left to be seen whether they make an approach for Osimhen.
Osimhen reportedly dreams of playing in the Premier League. Chelsea are also admirers of the former Lille marksman.
