Arsenal have agreed to loan out midfielder Fabio Vieira to Porto, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.
Vieira joined the Gunners from Porto in the summer of 2022. He had an exceptional start to his career with the Primeira Liga side.
However, he has been unable to replicate the same form with the Gunners due to multiple injuries and competition for places.
Earlier this year, it was reported that manager Mikel Arteta was not pleased with his efforts in training over multiple sessions.
Arsenal have now agreed to send Vieira back to Porto on loan. It will be a straight deal and Porto won't have an option to buy.
The 24-year-old has the opportunity to revive his career in a familiar environment and this would benefit the Gunners too in future.
His value has largely depreciated over the past two years and Arsenal will be hoping that he can stand out for Porto over the current campaign.
