Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly close to joining Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal.
The Spaniard spent the previous campaign on loan with Real Madrid where he was signed as a back-up for the injured Thibaut Courtois.
However, he lost his place to third-choice Andriy Lunin. The Ukrainian went on to make over 30 appearances for Madrid in all competitions.
Madrid are no longer interested in re-signing him and The Athletic claim that he is now expected to join Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
The Cherries were interested in landing Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal earlier this month, but they were put off by the loan demands.
The Gunners wanted a huge loan fee of around £5 million with the majority of his wages covered. The Cherries were reluctant to pay the same.
Ramsdale could still leave the Gunners before the deadline. Ajax, Wolves and Southampton remain in contention to land his signature.
The Englishman could be replaced by Joan Garcia at Arsenal.
