Manchester United have a concrete interest in signing Sevilla ace Juanlu Sanchez, according to ABC Sevilla.
The 21-year-old was a key player for Spain at the Olympic games. He was a regular at right-back as they won the gold medal.
Sanchez can also play on the right and left wing as well as in midfield. His progress has reportedly caught United's attention.
ABC Sevilla report that a representative from United recently made contact with a close companion of Victor Orta, who is Sevilla's sporting director.
United are yet to come forward with an official bid for the talented star, but they have a concrete interest in him, as per reports.
The Spaniard's release clause increased from €15m to €25m earlier this year, but there is a possibility that he could leave for less.
Sanchez will enter the last year of his contract next summer. He could realistically be sold if he does not pen a fresh extension.
