Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on Arsenal following the 2-2 Premier League draw at the Etihad Stadium.
The Cityzens took the lead in the ninth minute through Erling Braut Haaland. but Arsenal responded brilliantly before the half-time interval.
Riccardo Calafiori scored a stunning wondergoal to put them level before Gabriel Magalhaes gave them the lead from a Bukayo Saka corner.
They looked on course for a miraculous victory with 10 men after Leandro Trossard's sending off, but City scored a late 98th minute equaliser.
Speaking after the game, Guardiola praised the resilience shown by the Gunners backline, he said: "A big compliment to Arsenal as they defended every ball until the end.
"We created chances, maybe not clear."They have Calafiori, Saliba, Gabriel, Partey and Rice -you know the commitment was so difficult."
With the draw, Manchester City have moved to the top of the Premier League table with 13 points, two ahead of Arsenal who are fourth.
