Manchester United are prepared to compete with Arsenal in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani on loan.
The Frenchman has had a tough time with Les Parisiens and he is expected to be offloaded on a temporary basis at the turn of the year.
A move to the Premier League is said to be his preference and L'Equipe claim that United and Arsenal are among the candidates to sign him.
United have Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee in their ranks, but the duo have netted just three goals between themselves this campaign.
At Arsenal, Kai Havertz has netted seven goals this term, but his deputy Gabriel Jesus has failed to impress with just one goal thus far.
Muani could be seen as an upgrade on Jesus from January onwards.
Both clubs are open to pursuing a loan deal, but a transfer could ultimately depend on the preference of the former Eintracht Frankfurt star.
Muani may want assured playing time from the starting XI, having struggled to nail down a regular role with the French champions.
