Liverpool are considering Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah next summer, according to Bild.
The Egypt international has been in sensational form for the Anfield giants this campaign with 27 goal contributions in all competitions.
The Reds have opened talks with him over a new long-term deal, but there is uncertainty whether he will commit his future to the club.
A number of Saudi Pro League clubs are after his signature and Salah could be tempted to move to the Middle East next summer.
With this in mind, Liverpool are searching a replacement and Bild claim that they are keen on landing the services of Bayern's Sane.
Sane will enter the last six months of his contract in January and contact has already been established with his agent over a possible move.
The German is still awaiting a contract offer from Bayern. If there is no sizeable wage increase, he is expected to walk away on a free.
