Manchester United are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Chelsea playmaker Christopher Nkunku this winter.
The Red Devils are braced for the departure of Alejandro Garnacho. Chelsea have made an approach and they could make a formal offer soon.
United want a replacement for the 20-year-old in their ranks and reports claim that Nkunku has been identified as a potential transfer option.
The club have not made any kind of approach, but they have asked to be kept informed regarding Nkunku, who was on Bayern's radar recently.
The Frenchman has seen limited playing time at Chelsea under manager Enzo Maresca. He has largely played in the European matches.
Nkunku obviously wants to prove himself at the highest level too and it is left to be seen whether United can secure his signature this winter.
With United low in funds, the club could propose to sign him on loan with an option to buy. Chelsea could accept the deal if Garnacho joins them.
