Man Utd enter race to land Nigerian attacker

Manchester United have joined Arsenal and Liverpool in the pursuit of Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman this summer.

  • The Red Devils are expected to invest in multiple players in the next transfer window and bolstering the attack could be a priority.

    Ademola Lookman has emerged as an option for the Red Devils and he could be available on the cheap with his contract expiring next year.

    The club have already held tentative talks for the 27-year-old, but they are not alone in the pursuit with Arsenal and Liverpool keen.

    Arne Slot's side have identified him as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, who could leave when his contract expires on June 30.

    The Merseyside giants are taking concrete steps for the Nigerian star and they look determined to win the race for his signature.

    Lookman has been in superb form with 17 goals and seven assists this term. He could be available for a package of around £35m.
