Chelsea have made a second bid to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are determined to sign a new shot-stopper before the transfer window initially closes on June 10 for the Club World Cup.
They recently made an opening offer worth €10m for Maignan which was swiftly turned down. A second bid of €15m has been placed today.
Milan are yet to respond to the proposal. They are eyeing at least €30m for the Frenchman, who is an undisputed starter for his national side.
Maignan will enter the last year of his contract next month. The Rossoneri could be tempted to sanction his sale for a discount this summer.
They may not necessarily accept €15m. If the Blues were to improve their offer to €20m, a deal could be finalised between the clubs.
Maignan has already given the green light for a Premier League move. Chelsea will be keen to push through a deal in the next 48 hours.
