Arsenal are planning to make a contract offer to Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane.
The Gunners are expected to bolster their forward department and they are exploring different options.
Sane is one of the top names on their radar. The German's current deal with Bayern expires on June 30.
The likes of Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have made proposals to the winger, but Arsenal are also in the race.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta knows Sane very well from his time as the assistant manager at Manchester City.
He is reportedly keen on a reunion with the 29-year-old, who is comfortable playing from the left and right wing.
Sane presently earns around £220,000 per week, and he could demand a similar package from the Gunners.
On top of this, Arsenal would need to pay a signing-on fee. It could be more than £10 million amid the competition.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal make a formal contract offer to beat Gala and Fener to the experienced ace.
