Ambitious Spanish side Villarreal have completed the signing of under rated forward Joseba Llorente from Real Valladolid. The player is Villarreal's third signing of the summer.

Villarreal made Llorente their third signing after Sebastian Eguren joined from Hammarby and Edmilson from Barcelona.



Llorente was impressive last year for Valladolid, and a number of top class clubs were in for the forward.



“Real Valladolid signed Llorente when he was an unknown striker in Spanish football,” said a Valladolid statement.



“Llorente leaves Valladolid to play European football. The Champions League is waiting for him.”
