Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brighton, Sesko starts

Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Brighton tonight

Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup third round tonight.

The Red Devils suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend and will be keen to make up for it.

Brighton have won in four of their last five visits to Old Trafford, and United have to play at their best to progress to the fourth round of the competition.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Senne Lammens has been ever-present in goal for United since his debut, and we expect him to continue between the sticks.

There could be a couple of changes in defence. Diogo Dalot had a tough outing at right-back and could be replaced by Noussair Mazraoui.

Similarly, Patrick Dorgu had a game to forget against the Cityzens. The Dane was partly responsible for the goal conceded.

Luke Shaw has reportedly recovered from his fitness concern, and the Englishman could be reinstated in the left-back role.

Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez should continue in central defence.

No changes are expected in the heart of the midfield. Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo are likely to keep their respective places.

In the final third, we expect one change, with Benjamin Sesko coming in for Matheus Cunha as the main centre-forward tonight.

Bryan Mbeumo and Marcus Rashford should continue from the wide attacking positions, with Bruno Fernandes in the no.10 role.

Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brighton: Lammens; Mazraoui, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Tielemans, Mainoo; Mbeumo, Fernandes, Rashford; Sesko.
