Manchester United have held talks to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson through his agent, according to journalist Nizaar Kinsella.
The Red Devils are in the transfer market for a new marksman. There is a possibility that Rasmus Hojlund or Joshua Zirkzee could depart.
Kinsella now reports that the club have made contact with agent Ali Barat to discuss a possible deal for Blues striker Jackson this summer.
United first need to focus on player exits, but there is a possibility that the Blues could be willing to negotiate a swap deal for the striker too.
They hold a long-term interest in signing Alejandro Garnacho and the Argentine could move in the opposite direction as part of the deal.
Garnacho is reportedly determined to stay in the Premier League next season. His agent was spotted at Stamford Bridge earlier this year.
It won't be a surprise if the Blues swap him for Jackson soon. Arsenal have meanwhile snubbed the opportunity to land the 24-year-old.
