Manchester United have been handed a big boost with goalkeeper Andre Onana back in training after his hamstring injury.
The Cameroon international sustained the setback at the start of the month and this led to speculation that the club could pursue a new goalkeeper.
The likes of Emiliano Martinez and Senne Lammens have been linked, but the club's plans may change, now that Onana has returned to the pitch.
The former Inter Milan man was spotted back on the training field and he is anticipated to feature during the pre-season tour of the United States.
This could close the door for Martinez or Lammens to join the club. The duo are unlikely to accept a backup role behind the Cameroonian next term.
United could still pursue another deputy goalkeeper, considering Altay Bayindir seems determined to leave for regular first-team football.
The club hold a keen interest in Bologna's John Victor and could step up their interest in the Brazilian if they receive a good offer for Bayindir.
