Luis Enrique has been appointed the new coach of Barcelona B. The former Spain international has taken the place of Pep Guardiola, who is the new coach of the first team for Barcelona.
"After some meetings with Luis Enrique, he has decided to accept the position of coach of Barcelona B," Hierro said. "He has explained that he is delighted because his plan was to remain near his home and family. He did not want to move.
"I am delighted that he has chosen to coach the Barça B team. It was a decision that Barcelona had already taken, but still needed him to agree to all the terms."
