Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot is doubtful to face Manchester City in the Premier League next weekend after withdrawing from international duty with Portugal with an injury.
The Portuguese has been a mainstay in the starting line-up for the Red Devils and his position has not changed despite the change of managers.
Dalot's defensive positioning has been one of his main strengths and he is now facing a race against time to be fit for the Manchester derby.
Alongside Dalot, there are also concerns regarding Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount, who sustained injuries against Burnley last weekend.
Cunha sustained a hamstring injury in the 3-2 win while Mount picked up a muscular concern. Both will be assessed in the lead-up to the game.
There is a higher possibility that Cunha could return. He has started working in the gym and will be monitored in training next week.
United will be aiming to go four points clear of City with a win.
