Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim must unleash Bruno Fernandes from the number 10 role when the Red Devils take on Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils have picked up only four points from their opening three league games. They face a stern challenge after the international break with City and Chelsea to face in quick succession.
The Mancunian giants initially take on City at the Etihad Stadium and ahead of the game, Amorim should consider a change of position for Fernandes on the back of a double injury concern.
Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount sustained injuries in the last game against Burnley and they are not guaranteed to start at the weekend even if they manage to pass the fitness tests.
Fernandes has operated as a number eight this campaign, but it could be time to play him as a number 10. He has averaged four key passes per game, but has not offered much in an attacking sense.
He has been more focused on his defensive duties in the first few games and Amorim should unleash him alongside Bryan Mbeumo in attacking midfield in order to outclass the Cityzens.
