Bayern Munich have now entered the transfer race to sign England international defender Marc Guehi in the January transfer window. With Guehi entering the final 8 months of his current deal, the centre-back is looking at his next opportunity and Liverpool are long-term admirers of the talented defender.
Guehi is said to be open to all potential moves, but is interested in a move to Germany to join his international captain Harry Kane in the Bundesliga.
It is understood that Crystal Palace would accept a fee of around £30 million in January for the centre-back, who could leave for free next summer. The Eagles are ready to sell the defender as Guehi is unwilling to sign a new contract at Selhurst Park.
Liverpool had agreed a transfer fee for Guehi last summer, but at the last minute a deal had fallen through and Crystal Palace opted to keep the player as club manager Oliver Glasner refused to let the player leave the club.
Palace are set to cash in during January's window, and Bayern Munich have now emerged as new favourites for the defender's signature.
