Arsenal could be prepared to part ways with Gabriel Jesus next summer to secure the signature of Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez.
The Gunners added Viktor Gyokeres to their striking department last summer, and he has fared decently with nine goals in all competitions.
Despite this, the club are eyeing a further upgrade in the position and they are exploring an ambitious move for Alvarez when the season ends.
Arsenal have already made informal enquiries for the talented striker, who could be prised away from Atletico for around £104 million.
If the Gunners were to strike an agreement for the 25-year-old, it could pave the way for the departure of Jesus for a knockdown price.
AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly keen on landing the 28-year-old, who could be available for less than £18m in the next transfer window.
Jesus will enter the last year of his Gunners contract next summer, and there are no plans to hand him a new long-term deal on current wages.
