Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer is open to joining Manchester United in future, according to The Sun.
The England international has been with the Blues for almost three seasons, but he is assessing his future at the west London giants.
Palmer has his sights on returning to his hometown in Manchester, which opens the door for the Red Devils to land his services.
Manchester City previously sanctioned Palmer's sale to the Blues, and the playmaker has no desire to rejoin Pep Guardiola's side.
United are not contemplating any move for the attacker at the moment, but the scenario could change if Bruno Fernandes makes way.
Fernandes was heavily tipped to move to the Saudi Pro League last summer, but decided to stay put for another 12 months.
He may reassess his future in the summer. If a deal with Saudi materialises, United could utilise the funds to purchase Palmer from the Blues.
United have done business with the Blues in recent years. They have signed Mason Mount and also sanctioned Alejandro Garnacho's move to Chelsea.
