Arsenal are favourites to land Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United this summer, according to The Sun.
The Gunners are expected to pursue a new left winger at the end of the season with the prospect of Leandro Trossard possibly leaving the club. The Belgian's current deal expires in June next year and he could be sold during the next transfer window.
Amidst this, The Sun claim that the Gunners are leading the hunt to land Gordon ahead of United and Liverpool. Furthermore, it is reported that manager Mikel Arteta has admired his qualities from his Everton days.
The Magpies want at least 95 million pounds for the former Everton graduate, but the Gunners are optimistic of signing him for a package between 75 and 80 million pounds this summer.
Gordon could open the door for a big-money move away from the Magpies, particularly if they have no European football to play for next season.
