Arsenal star Kai Havertz could make his injury comeback against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
The German has been sidelined for the past few weeks with a hamstring injury, but he has recently returned to training.
Manager Mikel Arteta said that he will be assessed before the derby and reports claim that he is poised to make the squad.
Havertz was in fine form before his latest setback. He scored a memorable late winner in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
The playmaker has netted thrice since leaving the Blues for the Gunners, and will be eyeing another goal against his former employers tomorrow.
He is unlikely to make the starting XI for the London derby, but he could be involved in some capacity off the bench if the Gunners require him.
Arsenal are currently two points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the standings and have the opportunity to extend the lead on Sunday.
