Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has heaped praise on Max Dowman following the club's 2-0 Premier League win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners continued their winning league streak with a hard-fought victory over the Toffees. They had to wait until the 89th minute to break the deadlock through Gyokeres.
The goal came from a sensational cross from Dowman, who went on to score the second. In the process, the attacker became the youngest-ever goalscorer at 16 years and 73 days.
Speaking after the game, Gyokeres described Dowman as an incredible player and added that he has the knack of making the right decisions every time on the playing field.
He said: "Max Dowman is incredible. You can see how he plays, he plays so calm and without feat every time he gets the ball. He’s an amazing player. He’s always going for the right decision. We're behind him."
The victory has sent the Gunners 10 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, but the Cityzens can reduce the deficit to seven by beating West Ham United tonight.
