Manchester United are not exploring a deal for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes during the next transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
The Red Devils are expected to bolster their defensive midfield department at the end of the campaign. Casemiro is already confirmed to leave on a free transfer and there could be another exit too.
Manuel Ugarte has been a fringe player over the course of the campaign and the Uruguayan could be permitted to head for the exit door for a knockdown price as well.
Amidst this, Guimaraes has been linked as a prime target for the Red Devils, but The Daily Mail claim that the club have no intention to land the Brazilian star as of now.
Instead, they are exploring other alternatives in the transfer market. One of those is his teammate Sandro Tonali, who is eager to secure a bigger challenge from Tyneside.
Tonali could be prised away for around £80 million.
