Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost ahead of the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid on the road.
The Gunners returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League last weekend. They were far from convincing but a solitary goal from Eberechi Eze sealed the three points.
Eze picked up a minor injury early in the second half, which saw him substituted, but the Englishman has recovered in time for the clash tomorrow.
Speaking in the pre-match press conference, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Eze is 'ready to go', having returned to full training earlier today. He has travelled with the team.
However, the game will come too soon for Kai Havertz, who has not recovered from a leg injury sustained against the Magpies on Saturday.
Alongside him, Mikel Merino and Jurrien Timber are also sidelined for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Atletico in Madrid.
