Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has urged the Red Devils to land the signature of Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni during the next transfer window.
The Red Devils recently confirmed the departure of Casemiro at the expiry of his contract this summer. They have identified multiple targets to replace him and Tchouameni is one of those.
Tchouameni has been a mainstay in the no.6 role for Madrid over the last few years, but his future is uncertain, given that the club is eyeing Manchester City's Rodri in a big summer transfer.
Hence, he could be on his way out for a premium fee. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ferdinand believes United should swoop for the former Monaco man during the summer.
He added that the Frenchman was majestic during the 2-1 win against England at the last World Cup, and he would be very happy if United prised him away from Madrid later this year.
Tchouameni could cost at least £80m at the end of the campaign.
