Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Atalanta midfielder Ederson ahead of the summer transfer window, according to journalist Sebastien Vidal.
The Red Devils are expected to bolster their midfield department this summer with the prospect of multiple exits. Casemiro will depart when his contract expires at the end of June.
Manuel Ugarte could also be shown the exit door amid inconsistent displays. Ederson is one of the top targets for United, and Vidal claims that personal terms have been agreed.
The club will now proceed to negotiate payment terms with Atalanta, who are demanding at least 50 million euros to part ways with the Brazilian ace.
Atletico Madrid are also in the race to land the 26-year-old, but they are reluctant to meet the reported price tag for the versatile midfielder.
With a year left on his contract, Atletico don't want to pay over 40 million euros. This should help United in securing Ederson's signature.
Arsenal and Liverpool are closely monitoring the midfielder too.
