Arsenal wage hurdle for Nasri

Arsenal wage hurdle for Nasri

07 June 2008 - 03:33

Arsenal's move for talented winger Samir Nasri remains up in the air tonight after reports emerged that the Marseille winger may not sign for the Emirates side due to disagreements over his wage.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • Arsenal have been renowned over the years for their rigid wage structure; and Arsene Wenger this week hinted that the French league's clubs are now more willing to pay top players the top wages.

Nasri is understood to be looking for at least £15,000 more than the contract Arsenal are offering, but this is at this stage just speculation.

One thing is for sure, Arsenal will have to make up their mind on whether to sign Nasri shortly as there are apparently several other clubs looking to sign the player, including Inter Milan.
