Chelsea make new decisions on Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella

12 June 2026 - 19:53

Chelsea have changed their stance on midfielder Enzo Fernandez and defender Marc Cucurella ahead of the summer transfer window.

  • Chelsea agree to sell defender permanently
  • Chelsea set fresh asking price for Enzo Fernandez

  • The Blues had a dismal 2025/26 Premier League campaign, finishing 10th in the table. This has spread speculation that they could lose some high-profile stars this summer.

Fernandez has been heavily linked with an exit, and it has been claimed that the Blues want at least £120 million to part ways with the ex-Benfica man.

Cucurella has likewise been associated with a possible departure. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have been credited with an interest in signing him.

Amidst this, the Blues have now decided to keep hold of the duo and plan to speak with the pair through their entourage in the coming days.

New manager Xabi Alonso will only take charge from July onwards, but has already spoken with the hierarchy regarding the current squad.

There could be a change in transfer policy. The focus could be on experienced stars rather than landing young emerging talents.
