Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi is prepared to join Arsenal amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sky Sport CH.
The Moroccan was on the radar of the Gunners towards the end of last year, but he ended up penning a long-term deal with Lille.
However, he is still expected to head for the exit door this summer, and reports claim that he has now chosen to make the switch to the Gunners.
Arsenal have convinced him with their project after a private meeting between his entourage and manager Mikel Arteta this week.
Bouaddi is presently with Morocco at the World Cup but Lille are expected to speed up discussions with Arsenal over the final transfer fee.
A package of around £60 million could be negotiated for the player's transfer, which would represent a huge outlay at his age (18).
Still, he has been touted to become one of the best midfielders in the coming years and Arsenal seem prepared to take the risk.
