Chelsea right-back and captain Reece James is doubtful for England's round of 32 clash against DR Congo at the World Cup.
The Three Lions progressed to the last 32 of the World Cup as group winners following a 2-0 victory over Panama on Saturday.
They are now scheduled to face DR Congo and it could be a tricky affair with a number of Premier League stars in the opposition ranks.
Ahead of the game, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has returned to full training and he is expected to be involved for England.
However, there was no sign of James, who has been nursing a minor hamstring injury. He looks poised to miss out in midweek.
Jarell Quansah, who replaced him yesterday, also sustained an ankle injury, and he was eventually brought on for Djed Spence at right-back.
Spence now looks a frontrunner to start from the right side of the back four. Manager Thomas Tuchel could also utilise Ezri Konsa.
