Aguero to stay at Atletico

Aguero to stay at Atletico

09 June 2008 - 16:19

Atletico Madrid's president Enrique Cerezo has ruled out any chance of star striker Sergio Aguero leaving the club during the summer. The Argentinian forward has supposedly been linked with Chelsea this summer.

  • Man Utd believe they can sign Bournemouth star for £64m
  • Chelsea tipped to make shock move for Marcus Rashford
  • Chelsea chief Roman Abramovich is reportedly prepared to pay up to £30 million to land the star forward. But Atletico are not looking to sell the player anytime soon.

President Enrique Cerezo said: "Kun (Aguero) isn't for sale. He's a key player for Atletico in the coming years.

"Neither Kun nor the club wants him to go. Aguero wants to play here and we want him to stay and that's my final word on it."
