Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has named a strong starting XI for the Premier League opener against Coventry City at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners start their league title defence against the Sky Blues tonight and ahead of the game, Arteta has made a couple of changes from the 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield last weekend.
Bruno Guimaraes picked up an injury against the Cityzens and has not recovered in time to make the matchday squad. In his absence, Ethan Nwaneri has been picked on the bench, while Declan Rice returns to the centre of the park. He was a second-half substitute last time around.
The other change is on the right wing with Bukayo Saka replacing Noni Madueke. This was widely expected, considering the latter struggled to make the most of the scoring opportunities against Enzo Maresca's side.
Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Coventry City: Raya; White, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Lewis-Skelly; Saka, Odegaard, Tzolis; Havertz.
