Arsenal have clinched the signing of France international winger Samir Nasri on a five year contract believed to be worth £2 million a season to the Marseille man.
Arsenal had been in discussions with L'OM for over three months after their on/off interest in Hatem Ben Arfa.
Arsene Wenger instead turned his attentions to Nasri, and has paid a reported £12 million for the privilege.
Nasri will join this week and will become the Gunners' second big signing after the arrival of Welsh international Aaron Ramsey.
