Internazionale coach Jose Mourinho has expressed doubts on whether he can lure Frank Lampard to the San Siro this summer or not. The Chelsea midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Nerazzurri for quite a number of months.
Mourinho took over at Inter Milan this summer and has already made it clear that he would import several top quality players and has made no denial of the fact that the 30-year old England international is at the top of his shopping list.
But the former Chelsea manager has remarked that prising the star player away from Stamford Bridge this summer would be a hard thing to do since the club wouldn't want him to go elsewhere.
This is what the Special One is quoted in The Sun as saying:
âThis season? I donât think so.
âWhy wonât he? Well itâs not because we donât want him, but Iâm sure Chelsea and Chelsea officials donât want to sell him.
âHowever, for next season it will be easier for him to join me at Inter. Iâm 100 percent sure in 2009/2010 he will be playing here.â
