Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is rumoured to be considering a summer move for Borja Valero, the Real Mallorca midfielder who only joined the Islanders last summer from Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Valero’s agent Alexander Caamano has insisted that Rafa Benitez is a fan of the player and that he could make a summer £5 million offer for the player.



“Liverpool are interested in the boy after monitoring his progress last season," he said. "I hope to speak with Mallorca about this matter in the next few days.
