According to the British tabloid The Sun, tennis ace and Real Madrid fanatic Rafael Nadal has been assured by the clubâs president Ramon Calderon that they have agreed a deal with the Manchester United over Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Sun quotes an onlooker at the Wimbledon final between Nadal and Roger Federer saying that he heard Calderon tell Nadal, the winner of that final, that the Ronaldo deal is âdone and dustedâ.
A Spanish-speaking onlooker heard him ask: "OK, President, where's this Cristiano Ronaldo we're supposed to be signing?"
The Real chief replied: "Relax, Rafa, everything's under control and we've got him done and dusted."
Ronaldo has long been linked with a move from Manchester United to Real Madrid and the saga never seems to end. And although Calderon is supposed to have wrapped up the deal, there has been no confirmation of the deal at all.
